newsR&T Asia (Thailand), Rajah & Tann’s Thai network firm, has launched an intellectual property practice after hiring Nuttaphol Arammuang as the practice head from ZICO IP.

Nuttaphol was the Bangkok managing partner of ZICO IP, the IP arm of ZICO Law. With more than 20 years of experience, he advises clients on licensing and franchising; IP portfolio management; patent drafting and searching; freedom to operate report and analysis; trade secret management; and data protection issues.

Before joining ZICO in 2012, Nuttaphol worked for Tilleke & Gibbins for more than 12 years.

With the IP practice, R&T Thailand aims to assist local and regional clients in IP services, from prosecution to commercialization and dispute resolution.

With his addition, R&T now has 15 partners in Thailand.
