Mervyn Chen is skilled in communicating and fully understanding the commercial interests of his clients. Now, he is also a vice chairman of Maritime Law Committee of All China Lawyers Association and the chairman of Maritime Law Committee of Shanghai Lawyers Association. He is a professor at Law School of East China University of Political Science and Law, and he is also a visiting researcher at Institute of Marine Insurance Law of Dalian Maritime University.
