Kraisorn Rueangkul, Partner, DFDL
Kraisorn is a Partner of DFDL Thailand. He is also experienced in cross-border mergers and investments in the Mekong region. Steven Burkill, Head of the Bangkok Office and Partner in the Dispute Resolution Group, Watson Farley & Williams (Thailand) Limited
Steven is head of Watson Farley & Williams’ Bangkok office and Asia Dispute Resolution Group. He specialises in complex international disputes, in particular, London and Asia-based arbitrations involving oil and gas, power and large-scale projects and specifically renewable energy disputes. He is also highly experienced in shipping litigation. He has used this know-how on commercial projects to help avoid disputes and manage risk. Steven has sat as an arbitrator (sole and co-arbitrator and Chair) in ICC, SIAC, TAI and ad hoc arbitrations. This includes English Law and Thai Law in particular but also under the Laws of other countries.
Dr Oliver Massmann, Partner - General Director, Duane Morris Vietnam LLC
Dr. Oliver Massmann is an International Attorney at Law and a Financial Accountant and Auditor. He received his PhD with Major in International Business Law. Dr. Oliver Massmann is practicing as foreign licensed lawyer in Vietnam since more than 20 years. Dr. Massmann is fluent in Vietnamese language, negotiation and presentation level. Dr. Massmann practices in the area of corporate international taxation and on power/water projects, matters related to oil and gas companies and telecoms, privatization and equitization, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial matters for multinational clients in relation to investment and doing business in Vietnam. Brendan Pat, Managing Counsel and Global DPO, Agoda
Brendan currently leads the legal and risk areas of data privacy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for Agoda, a Booking Holdings company. Over time he has built up expertise in technology and regulatory legal matters, having designed and lead privacy teams globally and at regional level, and most recently having constructed a Responsible AI framework to enable the responsible use of generative AI. Brendan is seen as an expert in data related laws across the APAC region having spoken at international events in the past. He has further balanced his legal expertise with top notch professional and leadership training during his time at McKinsey & Co. Brendan is a well-travelled New Zealand and Australian qualified lawyer with extensive working experience in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Europe. He has lived in Thailand since 2015.

Jackson Pek, Senior Vice President & Group General Counsel, Amadeus IT Group
Jackson began his professional career as an attorney at the law firms White & Case and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in the U.S and Asia, and more recently was a senior attorney at IBM handling legal matters for the ASEAN countries and South Asia. After joining Amadeus in 2006 and serving as General Counsel of its Asia Pacific region for 12 years, Jackson joined the AirAsia Group as Chief Legal Officer, overseeing the legal activities of its nine operating airlines and serving on the group’s Senior Management Committee. He returned to Amadeus in 2020 in charge of commercial and transactional legal matters globally, before being appointed Senior Vice President & General Counsel in 2022. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Jackson has lectured at various universities in Asia, most notably the National University of Singapore Law School, where he served on the faculty for two years. A U.S. citizen, Jackson holds business and law degrees from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from New York University School of Law.
Jaroslaw Jankowski, Lead Counsel APAC & Korea Branch Manager of Siemens Logistics
Jaroslaw assumed the role of in-house legal counsel at Siemens Corporation in 2013 after gaining eight years of experience at prestigious international law firms in Amsterdam and Warsaw. Since 2015, he has been based in Asia and is responsible all legal, regulatory and corporate affairs for Siemens Logistics, encompassing e-commerce, airports and cargo sectors. Jaroslaw has taken on both legal and business responsibilities in ASEAN and played a key role in establishing Siemens Logistics' presence in Thailand. Currently stationed in Seoul, Jaroslaw serves as Korea Branch Manager, overseeing local operations. His dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the growth and success of the Siemens Logistics' endeavors in APAC.
Kawin Kanchanapairoj, Legal and Compliance Director, Pandora Production co., Ltd.
Kawin (Kevin) was an associate at a leading Southeast Asian regional law firm and specialized in litigation and intellectual property. He later shifted his career to in-house counsel working in several industries including venture capital, trading, and manufacturing. Currently, he is the head of legal and compliance team servicing crafting and supply function of Pandora Group which employs around 13,000 people in Thailand.
Kunal Sachdev, Head of Legal and Compliance, Lightnet Group Kunal Sachdev, Head of Legal and Compliance, Lightnet Group.
Kunal is an Australian qualified banking and finance lawyer who has spent the last 13 years in South-East Asia undertaking complex legal and financing matters in Thailand, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar. Currently serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance at the Lightnet Group, Kunal manages the largest team in the group comprising a team of 16 legal and compliance professionals across Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Lithuania. Kunal oversees multiple payment licenses in all of the aforementioned jurisdictions and acts as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for all of Lightnet's remittance operations. Kunal has also recently procured a Virtual Asset Service Provider license in Lithuania and passed an extremely stringent regulatory process in order to do so. Previously, Kunal served as the Deputy Head of Banking and Finance at DFDL where Kunal has advised and represented several of the largest banks and international financial institutions in the world.
Maprang Sombatthai, Legal Director, LINE Company (Thailand)
Maprang has more than 18 years working in international law firms and Head of Legal in insurance company as well as being Legal Director at the global IT commercial company. Advising Multinational Corporation on various legal matters especially on internet laws, privacy laws, M&A, litigation, and regulatory matters. Successfully managed numerous litigation cases, arbitration cases, business projects such as obtaining the composite Broker License for T.C. Yulia Askhadulina, Compliance and Data Protection Director, Minor International PCL

Yulia joined Minor Hotels in 2017 where she spearheaded the privacy program and advised on the legal aspects of compliance with GDPR, and all other privacy regulations emerging in the ASEAN and MENA regions.
