Sonja Dunne, MBA, LLB has 15 years of experience in the legal sector. Sonja joined Reckitt in 2018 as Head of Legal & Compliance Africa and was promoted in 2020 to Senior Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, based in Dubai. Prior to Reckitt, Sonja practiced as an Attorney for 8 years specializing in the corporate sector, before moving into her first in-house role at Itec, where she was Group Head of Legal for the Itec Group for 4,5 years. The Group specialized in sales, distribution, finance and service in the Telecommunications Sector.
 
She completed a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Henley Business School in 2020, with specific focus on Compliance: Transforming compliance inhibitors into business enablers to create a sustainable compliance culture in the FMCG industry.

During her career, Yosr held various positions in global international law firms in the region allowing her to gain significant regional experience in contracts, commercial, corporate, compliance, employment and a wide range of general legal areas. She is currently leading and managing the legal and compliance matters across the Middle East in Gartner. Embracing Gartner’s Principles of Independence and Objectivity, Yosr also supports the Gartner Office of the Ombudsman in the Middle East, a team that is established to openly and assertively address issues of analytical independence, accuracy and integrity. Saira graduated with a law degree from the University of Peshawar and completed her Masters in Law at Queens' College, at the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Saira started her in-house career as Legal Counsel for the electric power regulator in Pakistan and then moved on to work for law firms in the Middle East before moving back in-house at AkzoNobel which is the world’s leading coatings and chemicals company. At AkzoNobel Saira was General Counsel & Company Secretary for ICI Pakistan, then a USD 500m public listed company. He has spent almost 17 years of his career with Unilever in India, where he joined as a Management Trainee in the year 2001 and worked extensively advising businesses on Litigation and laws relating to Labor, Foods, Cosmetics, Legal Metrology, IP, Brand Protection, Taxation, Real Estate, Competition, Anti Bribery, M&A, etc. 

Prior to joining Landmark Group, for close to 3.5 years, Gaurav was the General Counsel of Marico Ltd., an India-based multinational corporation having a presence in the Middle East, North Africa, South Africa, and South-East Asia, where he was also part of the Executive Committee of the Group. He has also been an active member of the Insider Trading Committee, Code of Conduct, and POSH Committees at Marico. In addition, Gaurav was also a member of the FICCI’s FMCG Core Committee and the CII’s FMCG Committee.
